In order to initiate the leasing process, the lessor will require you to provide evidence of ability to pay the rent:

If you are a non-resident in Spain and moving here temporarily:

  • Copy of the passport.
  • NIE number (if you have it). 
  • Address of your habitual residence in your country.
  • Attending to your circumstances:
    • Employee: Last payroll and working contract. 
    • Self-employed: Last Income Tax Return.
    • Retired: Proof of having adequate savings or pension.
    • Student: Identification and proof of income from the parents (they will sign the contract as leasing party).

If you are a foreigner resident in Spain, or a Spanish citizen:

  • Copy of the ID Card or Residence Card.
  • Address of your habitual residence in Spain, for short term rentals.
  • Attending to your circumstances:
    • Employee: Last payroll and working contract. 
    • Self-employed: Last Income Tax Return.
    • Retired: Proof of having adequate savings or pension.
    • Student: Identification and proof of income from the parents (and they will sign the contract as leasing party).

Please note that this list is subject to the vendor´s approval and he might require additional information.
